Where it asks for the password, please enter the student's family name present on the TEFL certificate
(Including any capitals: e.g., Smith).
Employers: A TEFL certificate purporting to be studyTEFL-issued is not genuine unless they look similar to this (new version from April 2025) and/or can be located on our website (as described above: “How to view the TEFL certificate”).
To be clear, we do issue variations of our TEFL certificate (e.g. our old version had no QR code), but ALL VERSIONS include a certificate number that can be used with the student’s family name as a password to access their unique webpage with TEFL certification details. Simply put, no traceable TEFL certificate number means it is not genuine. If in doubt, try it out. We double-check all of our online TEFL certification links to ensure that they work well.
Newly graduated students are provided with a digital copy of both their TEFL certificate and transcript within 48 hours. We use the terms TEFL certificate and TESOL certificate interchangably because our training covers both types of learner.
