TEFL Destinations

Where in the world will you use your online TEFL certification?

Many countries have systems in place to provide visa sponsorship for native English speakers teaching EFL.The English teaching market is varied and ranges from teaching kindergarten and public elementary school students to teaching private business classes. Each position requires a slightly different set of skills but our TEFL courses provide you with these, so have no fear!English is the global language and, as such, EFL teachers are in high demand. By gaining accredited TEFL certification online, you’re increasing your chances of being hired (though the much more expensive, in-person CELTA option is generally the best if you have the time and money available). The studyTEFL online course provides similar opportunity to teach abroad; however, our cheap TEFL course won’t make you poorer.

As a new English as a Foreign Language teacher, or even a seasoned professional, you will likely have questions about individual countries. Which country pays the most? Which country has the best apartments? Which place is generally the safest for women? Which country provides the best and most affordable healthcare? The list goes on and on, and so it should! It is only natural to have a whole list of questions about a foreign country where you plan to spend a year or longer of your life.

We have tried our best to provide you with information pertaining to EFL teaching in a number of the most popular destinations. Unfortunately, things do change (e.g., Corona virus, terrorism, etc.), so while we do our best to keep this information regularly updated, it is not always possible to get everything exact. The information below is to give you a feel for what one of our online TEFL course lessons looks like (though the content will be more enriched with teacher-learner focus, of course. Remember, our accredited TEFL courses have been put together by qualified teachers with decades of experience on the job, and we don’t just sit idly while the industry evolves – we actively update and improve our TEFL course online material.

What are lesson flows?

Lesson flows are our unique way of getting you to interact with the unit’s learning, taking your time to see how what you’ve learned fits into the classroom dynamic. Online courses sometimes struggle to get students thinking beyond the basics, but we hope our course goes a step further than this. A flow is sometimes just a series of related multiple choice questions (like this), but later in the course, we introduce a sequenced collection of multiple choice questions that simulates the flow of an actual taught lesson (you’ll see more of this later). It reviews content easily and gives you a feeling of making decisions about a TEFL lesson in the sequence of a lesson (plan). These ones below are just to give you a taster.
