The 120-Hour Complete TEFL course is a one-time $39 purchase with its regular digital certificate included. Optional extras such as extra LMS access ($10 per extra 3 months) or a posted copy of your certificate cost extra, and are never compulsory.
What is the cheapest StudyTEFL course?+
The $29 Online Teacher TEFL is our cheapest route. It is a 120-hour course with an online-teaching focus, selected video, 6 months of LMS access, a lifetime PDF learning summary and a QR-verifiable certificate. It has technical and account support rather than tutor support.

Is a cheap TEFL course accepted everywhere?+
No TEFL certificate is automatically accepted everywhere. Employers and visa authorities set their own requirements, so always check the role you want before buying any qualification.

Does the course include tutor support?+
Yes, on the $39 Complete, $54 168-hour and $69 Practical courses. The $29 Online Teacher TEFL is self-directed, with technical and account support instead. We usually reply within 1 to 24 hours.
Is StudyTEFL CELTA or Level 5?+
No. StudyTEFL is an online TEFL provider. If a job specifically asks for CELTA, Trinity CertTESOL or an Ofqual-regulated qualification, choose that qualification.
How long does the cheap TEFL course take?+
It is self-paced. The 120-hour label describes the intended training volume, not a requirement to sit at a screen for exactly 120 clock hours. The $39, $54 and $69 courses include 12 months of LMS access, and the $29 course includes 6 months.
Is there a refund period?+
StudyTEFL has a 14-day money-back guarantee. The refund is scaled down once you have completed the fourth unit quiz, and no refunds are given after 14 days. You can pay with Stripe or PayPal, with multi-currency checkout.
Can I upgrade later?+
Yes. An upgrade never costs more than the difference between the two courses' prices, for example $10 from the $29 course to the $39 course.
What is the 200-hour Specialist + Business TEFL course?+
