Card declined? Check international payments before giving up.
An Indian debit or credit card can be declined because international or online transactions are disabled. That does not necessarily mean there is a problem with your StudyTEFL account.
StudyTEFL charges in USD. Your bank controls whether your card can make an international online transaction.
Open your bank app or card controls.Look for international usage, online transactions or e-commerce settings.
Enable international and online purchases.Some banks separate international use from online/e-commerce use, so check both.
Check your international transaction limit.Make sure the permitted amount is higher than the course purchase.
Try the payment again.If it is still declined, ask your bank to allow an international online education purchase.
Use another eligible payment card if needed.A trusted friend or family member can pay on your behalf. Your learner account and certificate should still contain your own details. You can reimburse them locally.

Yes. If legalisation is required, the StudyTEFL digital certificate can be sent to the UK apostille service electronically and the completed paper document can be couriered internationally. Most TEFL jobs do not require the TEFL certificate itself to be apostilled.
