What we've actually seen
Yes. StudyTEFL graduates use their certificates when applying for online English-teaching work. To date, we haven't had a graduate report that an online employer rejected their StudyTEFL certificate because of the certificate itself or because StudyTEFL is UK-based.
That's evidence from our own graduate experience. It isn't a promise that every employer will accept every applicant.
What TEFL doesn't control
Online employers can set separate requirements for a degree, experience, working hours, internet setup, location, nationality, work authorization or other qualifications.
TEFL certification can satisfy the training requirement for suitable roles. It can't override a company's other hiring rules.

If you later decide to teach overseas and a visa or employer requires legalisation, the UK-issued certificate can also follow StudyTEFL's professional UK solicitor and FCDO apostille route. You don't need to be in Britain to arrange it.
